I miss you guys! Though the next meetup in Zwolle has already been planned, it is still a few months away. As such, I thought it would perhaps be fun to do something in-between! Besides, my sushi cravings are getting stronger, and unless I do something about them...

There are a few activities we could do, such as...

Sushi
Eating the locals (regardless)
Backfish, my beloved! (not as beloved as you, Ven 💙)
...and other things that are not food related. You tell me!

We will discuss some activities to do in the Discord channel. As soon as something is determined, I will update the schedule here.

Tap water is safe to drink.
There are German "schuko" outlets over here. French/Belgian plugs will generally fit as well. Else, bring an adapter!
Make sure to bring cash, as you might occasionally come across a place that does not accept card.
Tipping is appreciated, but not required, in restaurants. Yum!
There is a deposit on plastic bottles and cans ("Pfand"). Make sure to hand these in at the supermarket before returning to your own country in case you live outside of Germany.
The meetup will be in English, though the people over here predominantly speak German. Remember that not everyone, especially older folks, might understand English. If needed, find the German derg closest to you and use them as a translator. It is said you can attract these strange critters by saying "gratis Kratzer".
Shops and supermarkets in Germany are closed on Sundays. Make sure you have everything you need by Saturday. Restaurants and other places of entertainment tend to remain open.
As always, bring your passport. Especially if you cross a country border, and since there might be checks in public transport.
