Dragonkin Meetup - Zwolle, Netherlands

An accessable alternative gathering for those unable to attend the Iceland meetup

Not everyone can make the long journey to Iceland for the international dragonkin gathering, whether due to distance, travel cost or other. To ensure no dragon is left behind, we are hosting a meetup here on the European mainland: In Zwolle, a city in the Netherlands.

Why the Netherlands (and why Zwolle)?

A previous gathering our group held in the Netherlands left a lasting impression. We stayed close to nature, with few humans around, and the enviroment felt peaceful, grounding and deeply resonant. That experience is the inspiration for choosing this location again.

But why Zwolle specifically?
I wanted to visit a more northern part of the country this time, to experience a new area while keeping the nature-focused vibe. Choosing a more northern location also makes the meetup more accessible for attendees coming from northern parts of Europe, shortening their travel distance compared to southern or central Dutch cities. Zwolle offers the perfect mix: easy to reach, yet surrounded by quiet green areas where we can gather without feeling crowded.

When?

On the weekend of Friday, the 19th of June till Sunday, the 21st of June.

Cost

The meetup itself is free, aside from any personal food or transport costs as well as the cost for the hotel rooms. The goal is to keep things as accessible and budget-friendly as possible. And if there should be any difficulties, we are allowed to abuse the Treasure Hoard >:3c (For legal reasons, this is a joke)

What to expect

A safe space to talk about identity, experiences of your draconity, spirituality and more. We will have many small group discussions, walks in nature and visit new places.
A final agenda will be posted in the specific channel on our Discord server.

Whether you cannot attend Iceland, prefer a closer gathering, or simply want to reconnect with nature and kin, the Zwolle meetup offers a calm, welcoming alternative.
